Spider Solitaire 1 Suit: Rules and How to Play

The easiest and most relaxing version of Spider

Spider Solitaire 1-suit (all spades) is the most beginner-friendly version of this popular card game. Learn the rules and start playing in minutes.

The Goal

Build 8 complete sequences of 13 cards each, running from King down to Ace, all in the same suit (spades). Each completed sequence is automatically removed from the board.

How to Move Cards

You can move any face-up card or group of cards that form a consecutive sequence. Click a card to select it, then click the destination column. Cards can be placed on any card that is one higher in value.

Dealing New Cards

When you're stuck, click the Deal button to add one new card to each of the 10 columns. Note: you cannot deal if any column is empty — fill empty columns first.

Winning Strategy

Try to keep at least one or two empty columns — they're very useful for temporary storage. Build complete sequences on as few columns as possible rather than spreading cards everywhere.

FAQ

Why is 1-suit easier than 4-suit?

In 1-suit, all cards are the same suit, so you only need to build descending sequences without worrying about suit matching — making it much simpler.

What if I can't move any card?

Click the Deal button to add new cards. If you have no more deals and no moves, the game is over.

Can I undo moves?

Yes! Click the Undo button to take back your last move.
