Spider Solitaire 1-suit uses two standard decks of cards, but all cards are treated as the same suit (spades). This makes it the easiest and most beginner-friendly version of Spider Solitaire.
Cards are dealt to 10 columns. The first four columns each receive 6 cards, and the remaining six columns receive 5 cards each. Only the top card of each column is face-up.
Move cards to build sequences in descending order. Any card can be placed on any card that is exactly one higher in value. Groups of sequentially ordered cards can be moved together.
Complete 8 full sequences from King down to Ace. Each completed sequence is automatically removed from the board. Win by removing all 8 sequences.
Maintain empty columns for temporary card storage. Build complete sequences on as few columns as possible. Avoid spreading cards across too many columns — consolidation is key.
